About the Event
Do you know that there are over 500 native grape varieties in Italy? And they use at least 175 different varieties in their everyday wines. A such, there is SO MUCH to learn about Italy!
Come join us as we explore three of their many regions, and go away with a new love of the country! We'll focus on red wines from Asti in Piemonte, Chianti Classico from Tuscany, and Vulture in Basilicata. The wines we will be tasting are:
- Cascina Roera Barbera d’Asti Superiore San Martino 2013
- Badia a Coltibuono Chianti Classico 2017
- Cantina del Notaio Aglianico del Vulture l’Atto 2015
If you can get one (or all!) of these wines to taste along with me, that is fabulous! If not, feel free to supplement with any similar red wine from these regions (or country, if regions are unavailable), and please let me know ahead of time which wine you'll be tasting.
Please note, I may be taping the class to use for my own purposes, including potentially adding to my website. If you do not wish to be included in the tape, please don't turn on your video and disguise your name.
Saluti!
